Controller Overview

The robot is controlled through a Python graphical interface running on a Legion Go. It provides real-time video, sensor information, movement control for the robot, head, and legs, and selectable operating modes or pre-recorded actions. AI and sound features can be enabled or disabled, with real-time audio received from the Raspberry Pi 5. Communication with the Pi 5 is handled over Wi-Fi using ZeroMQ.

  • Controller Software — stack, process/thread layout, internal communication pattern.
  • Interface & Screens — screen list, navigation model, Main screen layout.
  • Data & Controls — what the interface displays and sends, mapped to the Robot ↔ Controller wire protocol.
